This report summarizes the findings of TI-Kenya’s seventh Kenya Bribery Index (KBI), 2008. The survey is part of TI-Kenya’s effort to inform the fight against corruption with rigorous and objective research and analysis. The survey captures corruption as experienced by ordinary citizens in their interaction with officials of both public and private organizations. Respondents provide information on the organizations where they have encountered bribery during the past year, where they paid bribes, how much they paid and for what.
