This report presents a summary of the findings of TI-Kenya’s third national survey on the magnitude of bribery in Kenya. The survey is part of TI-Kenya’s effort to inform the anti-corruption effort with objective, rigorous research. The survey is conducted using a structured questionnaire administered by personal
interviews in households. The survey was conducted in December 2003. A total of 2,407 individuals were interviewed in all the eight provinces, 1,160 in urban residences and 1,247 in rural residences.
