Fraudulent Letters Misusing the Name of Transparency International-Kenya

We wish to alert the public to the misuse of Transparency International-Kenya’s name to extort and intimidate Kenyans. Fraudulent letters ostensibly written from the TI-Kenya legal department are in circulation. PLEASE NOTE: TI-Kenya does NOT have a legal department, and neither do we investigate or engage in criminal and legal procedures in any way. We would like to confirm that we are in no way associated with these letters and denounce this exploitation of the TI-Kenya brand. The Kenyan public and others are advised not to engage in any correspondence with the authors of these letters and instead to report any incidents to the TI-Kenya Secretariat at the contact information detailed on this website.
